THE COLLECTED
BOOKS of

       RICHARD
       DENNER

What follows is an introduction to the first eight volumes of The Collected Books of Richard Denner (now twelve completed volumes). Not all of this work is credited to Denner; he frequently writes under a host of regular pseudonyms; personas who have conversations, correspond with one another, and have, over the decades, spiraled into a massive and massively self-referential body of work.

I've presented eight complete chapbooks here, one from each volume. The first eight volumes are reproduced in their entirety at Denner's site. Enclosed are some of my favorites that I hope will give you a brief idea of the depth and breadth of Denner's work, and that I hope will encourage you to read further.
