Talan Memmott is a writer living and working in San Francisco, California. He comes to writing from a background in fine art, having studied painting, installation, video and performance art, as well as critical theory during a somewhat "chaotic" college career. His video work was featured at the Sheffield International Media Exhibition in 1991 and he has given performance/lectures at San Francisco Art Institute, San Jose State University and a number of art galleries. Memmott currently works in the multimedia field as production director for the web development firm PERCEPTICON and serves as creative director for the literary hypermedia journal BeeHive.
