MIKE AND DALE'S YOUNGER POETS

Mike & Dale's Younger Poets is a quarterly journal devoted to the art of poetry. We try to publish work by younger writers as well as other established poets. The "architecture of our lineage," as Joanne Kyger writes, is important to us, searching out and revealing the shared affinities between generations. Those of us learning the craft have much to learn from those who have practiced it for years.

In addtion to poetry, M&D has published interviews with Tom Clark, Edward Dorn, Joanne Kyger and Charles Bernstein. Issue 7 contains reprinted material from an online e-mail debate about the magazine's editorial decisions. These pieces add a depth to each issue, revealing a community of writers working through diverse experiences and concerns. Mike & Dale's Younger Poets is a journal of poetry in a long tradition of small renegade publications. So, check out the magazine. Become a younger poet today.
